PalletIQ AI is operated by Chris Slater ("we", "us", or "our"), an individual seller based in Michigan, United States. Chris Slater is the data controller for personal data processed through PalletIQ AI. You can contact us at michiganpalletsource@gmail.com.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials, OAuth identifiers, and subscription status.
- Uploaded content: manifests, product data, files, notes, and saved analyses you submit.
- Generated content: analysis results, bid recommendations, marketplace listings, and history records.
- Usage and telemetry: pages viewed, features used, analysis counts, timestamps, device identifiers, browser data, and IP address.
- Support communications: emails, requests, feedback, and related correspondence.
- Cookies and similar technologies: essential cookies for sign-in and analytics cookies for product improvement.
Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
3. Why we use personal data
- Provide the service (contract): create accounts, process manifests, generate analyses and listings, and deliver paid features.
- Subscriptions and account administration (contract / legal obligation): manage plan access, invoices, tax, cancellations, and refunds through Paddle.
- Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests / legal obligation): protect accounts, prevent abuse, and investigate suspicious activity.
- Product improvement (legitimate interests): understand aggregate usage, diagnose errors, and improve models and workflows.
- Support (contract / legitimate interests): respond to requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Marketing (consent / legitimate interests where permitted): send product updates that you can opt out of.
4. How we share data
We share personal data with limited categories of recipients that help us operate PalletIQ AI:
- Paddle.com: Merchant of Record for checkout, subscription management, payments, tax, invoicing, refunds, and related customer service.
- Cloud hosting and database providers: infrastructure used to host the application and store account data.
- AI model providers: providers that process manifests and product data on our behalf to generate analyses and listings.
- Analytics and product tooling: tools used to measure usage, diagnose errors, and improve the service.
- Professional advisers: legal, accounting, tax, or security advisers where necessary.
- Authorities: regulators, courts, or law enforcement where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent protections.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after that to meet legal, tax, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution needs. Uploaded manifests and analyses are retained while your account is active unless you delete them or request deletion. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, export, or object to use of your personal data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and complain to a supervisory authority.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege database policies. No service is completely secure, so please contact us promptly if you believe your account or data may be at risk.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and operate the service. We may also use analytics cookies to understand product usage and improve PalletIQ AI. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the service from working.
